Whether you’re storing personal belongings, business stock, or larger household items, we want to make the process as simple and stress-free as possible. Below you’ll find answers to some of our most commonly asked questions about access, payments, security, insurance, and booking your storage unit.
We don’t provide insurance, however, we do advise you to insure your goods whilst in storage. We have good security measures in place but it’s worth having insurance to cover you against unforeseen events such as fire/flood etc. We recommend contacting www.insurastore.com for a quotation.
We do advise you to buy your own padlock, however, we do have some available on site for purchase if you’ve forgotten to bring one.
There is 24 hour CCTV coverage across the site, gated entrance requiring a key fob to access, and security lighting in the evenings. Our CCTV is accessible from our mobile devices enabling us to keep an eye on the site even when we’re not there.
External units are accessible 24/7 with a key fob. Internal units are accessible from 9am to 5pm Monday to Saturday and 10am to 4pm on Sundays. The main gate is open from 9am to 5pm Monday to Thursday and 9am to 2:30pm on Fridays. It remains closed on Saturdays and Sundays, so if you wish to access an internal unit over the weekend then you will require a key fob.
We ask for 2 weeks’ notice to vacate your unit. If you vacate without giving the 2 weeks’ notice you may be charged for the notice period.
Payment is made in advance by BACS or standing order at the start of each month. We do not accept cash or cheques.
